Sinopsis Drama Korea The Day (2023):
Kim Myung-Joon (Yoon Kye-Sang) adalah pria miskin yang berhati hangat. Dia sangat membutuhkan uang untuk membiayai operasi putrinya yang sakit. Saat ini, mantan istrinya muncul dan menawarkan untuk menculik Choi Ro-Hee yang berusia 11 tahun, yang memiliki orang tua kaya. Kim Myung-Joon cukup putus asa sehingga dia menerima tawarannya.
Untuk penculikan tersebut, Kim Myung-Joon berkendara di dekat rumah Choi Ro-Hee, namun dia secara tidak sengaja menabrak seseorang dengan mobilnya. Orang yang dia pukul adalah Choi Ro-Hee. Dia kehilangan ingatannya karena kecelakaan mobil. Kim Myung-Joon membawa Choi Ro-Hee ke rumahnya dan dia mulai tinggal bersamanya. Choi Ro-Hee percaya Kim Myung-Joon adalah ayahnya. Dia adalah gadis yang sangat cerdas.
Sementara itu, Kim Myung-Joon ingin mengembalikan Choi Ro-Hee kepada orang tuanya, namun mereka tidak menjawab telepon. Dia memutuskan untuk pergi ke rumah mereka dan mencari tahu alasannya. Di sana, Kim Myung-Joon menyaksikan mayat orang tuanya dibawa keluar rumah mereka. Yang memperburuk keadaan, Choi Ro-Hee menyadari bahwa Kim Myung-Joon bukanlah ayahnya dan dia berbohong tentang hubungan mereka.
